Final Play-test [Week 12]

It is week 12! Submission week has arrived and we have till 11.55pm to get everything submitted. The race against time is on! Thankfully for us, we are on track to submit everything on time. Without further ado, let's talk about our final play-test!

The main thing we were looking for in this final play-test was any glaring bugs that we needed to address urgently. There were a few issues we were already aware off and hoping to address during class time. By "we", I mean our programmer who may or may not be mentally broken by the time this project is over.


There were several issues found by the testers ranging from missing music, button detection still acting off to one of the tanks not being interact-able. Some did mention a bug with the camera movement system, when in reality it was just us changing the system and forgetting to mention that.


That was our bad.


87% said the combat chart helped them although 12% managed to miss it. It did make us aware that we needed to urgently tweak the attack and movement ranges for certain movements. The reason for this was due to the fact that the hover-jet was unit that was used the most, due to its high attack and movement range.


Thankfully, we got the difficulty level right in the middle which is what we were looking for. Now it is time to fix the last minute issues and get everything sorted before our 11pm deadline!
